Booking Calendar not right

I was told to create a support ticket for this issue, therefore here is what is going on.
I was told a few months ago to use the jQuery plugin to make the fa-calendar icons work right. I am rebuilding our website using the LuxStay theme and I want this plugin to work the way it is supposed to work without using another plugin to correct the issue. This is not a css issue, is has something to do with the jquery and I don’t know what to change or where to do it. Can you please help me get this working correctly without the use of another plugin?
The booking part is in the center of the top of page and also in the right sidebar of website. You will see what I am talking about.

The booking date is running into the calendar icon. When I activate the jquery plugin it corrected it. Please help. Just so you know, this was a paid job I had you all create for me right at 4 years ago. The jQuery probably needs updated in the plugin you created. That is why I contacted you through the other form in case you are going to charge me to fix it.
