Eduma not installing recommended plugins on installation

The Eduma theme is not installing the recommended plugins during the installation process, this in turn causes an error as key plugins are needed to install the demo data and the website throws an error and pages don’t run, please advise how one can install all plugins successfully to continue on with the customization?
