How to remove slider arrows on the home page

Hello, I don’t actually want a slider on the home page so I am trying to just remove the arrows. I like it how it is otherwise, just need to get rid of them. I tried writing custom css to put display: none; on the .tparrows class but I don’t seem to be able to get anything to work with the custom CSS. I attached a photo to show what I mean. Thanks for your help.
