Large white bar under header

I am using the Eduma Theme React with Child theme Tech Camp. There is a a large white gap between the header and the first section. The react demo however advertised there was a seamless transition between the header and the first section. In fact the background photo of the first section (with the Slider Revolution) is supposed to be underneath the header as well.
There are also large spaces between other sections.
The Theme came with active errors related to height and padding. And the sections with issues can not be accessed via WP Bakery visual composer.
Please resolve.
