Not sure if it is a problem with the LearnPress update, or the theme Eduma,. PLEASE THIS NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED IMMEDAITELY BECUASE NOW MY STUDENTS CAN’T ACCESS THE COURSE, AND I’M LOOSING REVENUE BY NOT BEING ABLE TO DIRECT NEW PEOPLE TO MY COURSES!
But here is the problem:
So as a reminder, to me (and on my mobile phone) there are various instances in which the video isn’t showing, this page I’ve shared previously is a clear example of it:
https://bethechangeempower.org/course/how-to-start-a-nonprofit-chairty-intro-program/I’ve found that if I have the video privacy settings set as hidden, but can be embedded anywhere, then the video does appear and play correctly in both places. When I set it to embed on specific domains and remove the specific domain then as expected it doesn’t show in both locations. However when I then add the specific domain the video doesn’t work at the top, but it does work in the overview tab.
Here are links of screenshots of the problem –

https://drive.google.com/file/d/18eR3pSJdoLLhzIdlfvK2MH_pPOBAESvk/view?usp=sharing
I’ve been in touch with vimeo who host the videos and they say they problems could be one of the following (I’ve tested everything I can, so the remaining issues are a problem with learnpress,
The domain-level privacy settings provided by Vimeo depend on the referrer (i.e., the piece of information that identifies your website’s request to access our player). The referrer sent to our player allows us to know whether or not we can display the video on your site, based on your video’s privacy settings. If the referrer is incorrect, or if there is no referrer, the video will show the permission error you’re seeing.
If you’ve already added the exact domain from your browser’s address bar to your privacy settings, it’s likely that your webpage is failing to send referrer information to our player iframe. Here are some common causes:
There is a meta referrer tag placed your page’s source code set to never pass referral data. Check for lines of code that specify “no-referrer” or “origin-when-crossorigin” and remove them. You may need to contact a web developer for help.
You’ve entered an IP address in your privacy settings, but your page is being accessed from a domain. Please try modifying your settings to include a valid domain.
Your page is hosted on a separate/unknown domain which is different from the domain listed in your address bar.
The backend or “preview mode” for your webpage builder may be hosted on a separate domain. Try publishing your webpage to see if the error persists on the live, outward facing, page. This is very common with WordPress.
The embedded player is contained within another iframe or referrer-blocking element in your site. This can prevent the referral data from passing through to our player. You may need to contact a web developer to resolve this.
You have third party plugins active that purposefully block referral data sent from your site. Start by checking your webpage builder and disabling any plugins that may sound related.
You can read more about the different ways referrer information can be delivered here-https://www.w3.org/TR/referrer-policy/#referrer-policy-delivery.

Dear Adam,
This issue is clearly not from Learnpress or our theme, it’s related to the privacy settings of your video. If you don’t believe it, you can disable our theme and plugin to check.
Best regards,
Daisy

Hi Daisy,
Thank you for the reply. Please I urge you to explore this further because it isn’t a problem with the privacy settings. I’ve tested that thoroughly.
Let me clarify again, the videos previously worked perfectly fine in both locations, however now since the theme and learnpress update even with the exact same privacy settings it has stopped working at the top of the page. (It occurs in many locations on the website now)
Vimeo thinks it is a problem with the website because for some reasons it is blocking information that is being sent to vimeo.
Again, this is what vimeo said:
There is a meta referrer tag placed your page’s source code set to never pass referral data. Check for lines of code that specify “no-referrer” or “origin-when-crossorigin” and remove them. You may need to contact a web developer for help.

Hi Daisy,
So there are two problems:PROBLEM 1 –
So the video hosting provider has provided more information and have said that something has changed on the website that now restricted certain information being sent back to vimeo, which causes it to not work on safari browsers. So the problem now persists on safari browsers. Please, I must resolve this immediately, I’m loosing a lot of money because it used to work perfectly fine, but now no longer does.PROBLEM 2 –
I’ve just logged in and updated to the latest version of Eduma theme, and the update thimpress pluggins and my website formatted has completely messed up. Please resolve this ASAP.I’ve left the website in maintenance mode so you will need to log in again to see the problem. Using the access information I previously provided.
Thank you,
Adam

Thank you for that, the website does seem to be behaving strangely.
It seems that the video issue has now resolved itself.
It also seems that for the formatting issue I shared is only happening in safari.
PROBLEM 2
Seem the link here of a screenshot of what I see – https://drive.google.com/file/d/14Qc07TZ1DUjIkBrclPLumAw8V1As5XAr/view?usp=sharingPROBLEM 3
ALso, the formatting of woocommerce buttons has now completely messed up though after updating woocommerce plugin.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P0PvTy2bSUBgPZqO6P0BOxl70KYY7wRx/view?usp=sharing
See this screenshot, the buttons on the products when on the shop page are now completely blank with a red outline and the font of the product titles has changed, it is now become bigger. So if you hover over the ‘Courses’ menu, a mega menu appears. On the right hand side of the mega menu is a product, but because the font size of the product title has changed, this product element no longer fits within the mega-menu, it sticked out at the bottom of the menu. Please help to resolve ASAP.

Regarding Problem 3, I see you have changed the button colour, however, they do still have a red outline. Also the ‘Proceed to checkout button’ still also has a red outline. Please resolve ASAP.
Thank you,

Problem 3 continued…
Also, as mentioned in my previous message – there is still formation that doesn’t work.
Here is a screenshot of the mega-menu. The formatting of the product in the right-hand panel of the mega menu is still off!
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cn_VIGk1gLuRB1Gn_Ka8a0OtXV8tGhVj/view?usp=sharing
1 – the product element extends beyond the bottom of the menu, previously it used to be fine.
2 – there is still the red outline around these buttons in this mega-menu for the product
3 – For some time the ‘sale’ ‘badge’ hasn’t been correct here for a while. If you go to the shop page you will see the sale badge correctly appearing as a small round circle in the top left corner on top of the image. Here in the mega-menu, and where it appears in the sidebar for blogs, the ‘sale’ page is a rectangular block that goes all the way across and above the product image, rather than on top of it. I think because this appear above the image, it is also causing the product element to be shifted downwards too.
4 – as described in my previous message, the red outline around various woocommerce buttons still appears.Thank you,
