Position of the booking bar

Hello i am having trouble with with the position of my booking search on the homepage.
I used the demo content from this page http://hotelwp.thimpress.com/demo-2/ and want my homepage to look exactly like this.
But on my site however the bar was appearing as transparent and then when i removed position:absolute it lost its transparency but moved under the slider.
My site is riverbendlodge.ie, any help would be greatly appreciated.
