Shortcode for displaying categories isn't working anymore

Dear Thimpress team

I created a Shortcode to display all my categories with their image and the description. Everything worked out fine until an recent update. Now the categories aren’t displayed anymore.
Disabling the WPBakery Page Builder though and removing all the tags around the Shortcode (i.e. [vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]) does solve the problem for some part: the categories are displayed again but the WPBakery isn’t working well anymore after switching back and the frontend is also pretty messed up.

Do you have any idea what the reason for that could be?
