subscription option has no effect

I Tried this subscription option but it has no effect. I should have received a confirmation/verification email, but this did not happen. If it should happen without that confirmation, I did not receive any news on my email yet. And where in CPanel I can find the emails of those subscribers.
Note: The subscription box is placed at the end of the page ( footer ).
