I have deactivated plugin “Elementor Pro” and I can edit Footer with Elementor. You can try again.

Unfortunately this does not solve this issue. As soon as you reactivate Elementor Pro, the changes made using Elementor basic are hidden. I was able to edit the footer with Elementor Pro previously and I do have a license for it and would like to maintain using it. How can I continue to edit using Elementor Pro? I also require this for the main homepage currently hiding this theme (properprep.concinnity.us). That page won’t work without ELementor Pro installed.

My other unresolved issue is the social icons are still broken after making the latest update to the plugin/themes. Please see the screenshot I am not able to restore the proper sizing of the social icons to the footer and they are improperly placed indented to the right as well:
