When user enters wrong password he/she does not get the failed login warning

Hi,
One of your support techs helped resolve this issue about two weeks ago, but looks like the issue came back after updating the theme. Could you please fix again and how do we make sure that the fix sticks even after updating?
When user enters wrong username or password he/she does not get the failed login warning message : “ERROR: Invalid username or email.”
