November 18, 2020 at 10:44 AM in reply to: Eduma Mega Menu on Mobile Devices is Showing Wrong Background Color #628289Hello thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately this does not solve the issue
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f7g2mb58a91966v/IMG_2534.PNG?dl=0If the courses submenu is white then the entire menu should be white with darker menu text. Additionally, I think that the text of the menu is really small and might be better served to be enlarged?

November 17, 2020 at 12:03 PM in reply to: Unable to Change Homepage Icon Box Background Color and Hover Color #627870Hi Star Lord,
Unfortunately these code fixes combined don’t solve the problem. When applied, they are fading out the text of the section using opacity. Please see the screen shot of before: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mtt8hvkfu6i7201/Icon%20Box%20Background%20Color%20and%20Hover%20Color.JPG?dl=0
After (faded text): https://www.dropbox.com/s/3f7hxjcj187j82b/UpdatedCode.JPG?dl=0
This looks like it needs a broader code fix to the core theme update so that these controls can be fully controlled using Elementor without the use of CSS patches. Kind regards,
Mike
Thank you for your confirmation and quick response. I greatly appreciate your help. This is resolved. Kind regards,
Mike

November 17, 2020 at 11:30 AM in reply to: Eduma WooCommerce Product Titles Are Being Overlapped By The Cart Icon #627854Hi Star Lord, I think that was a helpful fix. I have added it to my site and will keep that code. Thank you for adding this to the next code update. Kind regards,
MikeHi Star Lord – I am not sure why this section is now missing. Here is what should be there
Admin Event Edit Page: The Organizers section is missing. This is the un-editable section I was referring to.

Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bjdeohmbwx48acl/Event%20Participants.JPG?dl=0Now that it is being hidden this is the result that I was looking for, but I am not sure why it is being hidden. Did I de-activate a plugin that controls this?
November 17, 2020 at 11:18 AM in reply to: Eduma Footer Conflicting With Latest Elementor Update / Can’t Edit Footer #627844Hi Star Lord,
This is exactly what I am trying to do. Please look again at the screenshot that I provided. The size of the icons are much larger than the ones shown in your screenshot. Additionally, please look at their placement beneath the text above they are far over to the right being indented. You can’t edit the sizing or placement using Elementor anymore. I could before but not now after the latest update:
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dwftsj73pcpldq1/cantedit.JPG?dl=0
Look at the difference between the two footer sizes of the social icons and their placement, the left is how it should look and the right is the bug version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n4su8e0gq91an83/Footerissue.JPG?dl=0
The sizing of the social icons on the contact page have the same issue they are now zoomed in and misaligned:

Thank you for the update. This is a helpful fix. Are we able to add this to the core code for all themes? This would be a persistent issue for all who use this feature. Kind regards,

Elementor Pro seems to now be working to be able to edit the footer and the error is no longer happening.
However, the second issue is still persisting:
My other unresolved issue is the social icons are still broken after making the latest update to the plugin/themes. Please see the screenshot I am not able to restore the proper sizing of the social icons to the footer and they are improperly placed indented to the right as well:

Hello Star Lord,
Thank you very much for the helpful update. I will revisit the payment settings.
The CSS code did work to hide the section, thank you.
However the instructions to hide the members in my dashboard didnt work. I don’t show that path in my admin panel. Did you manually remove these team members from the event page for me? That section now appears to be completely hidden from the page altogether as well as inside of the page edit?
2. Those are members in your Dashboard => Our Teams => All Members
Kind regards,
Mike

November 17, 2020 at 10:14 AM in reply to: Eduma Footer Conflicting With Latest Elementor Update / Can’t Edit Footer #627806Hello Star Lord,
Unfortunately this does not solve this issue. As soon as you reactivate Elementor Pro, the changes made using Elementor basic are hidden. I was able to edit the footer with Elementor Pro previously and I do have a license for it and would like to maintain using it. How can I continue to edit using Elementor Pro? I also require this for the main homepage currently hiding this theme (properprep.concinnity.us). That page won’t work without ELementor Pro installed.

November 17, 2020 at 9:45 AM in reply to: Eduma WP Theme running slow and getting poor page load-time scores on GTMetrix #627794GTMetrix is suggesting that Javascript parsed during the initial page load of the homepage is 939.6KiB. By deferring this it can reduce the blocking of page rendering.
“In order to load a page, the browser must parse the contents of all <script> tags, which adds additional time to the page load. By minimizing the amount of JavaScript needed to render the page, and deferring parsing of unneeded JavaScript until it needs to be executed, you can reduce the initial load time of your page.”
Can you please advise how this site can be optimized for optimal load times to improve the speed performance?

November 17, 2020 at 3:55 AM in reply to: Unable to Change Homepage Icon Box Background Color and Hover Color #627714Hello,
Thank you for your reply, however this only partially solves the issue. This fix changes the base-color opacity but it doesn’t address the mouse-over hover effect of a slightly darker opacity when hovered like in the original color. How can add and control the hover effect to these boxes?
Kind regards,
Mike
Thank you this issue is resolved. Kind regards,

November 13, 2020 at 11:20 PM in reply to: Hamburger menu on mobile is overlapping with logo #626822Phuong,
I greatly appreciate your very helpful response and video instructions. This solved the issue, thank you!
The issue with the previous instructions that were provided was that it skipped the step of choosing the United States theme and instead I was selecting “edit template” without choosing any language. This was probably why it was returning the errors. Now I am able to make the change with no error. Again, thank you for your helpful response. This issue is now resolved.

Unresolved issue:

2) Sub-page Headers: Blog, Courses, others

if you want to hide “purchased” you can use the following CSS to hide it, but it will be hidden on all users profile page
you can go to appearance/ customizes/ general/ custom CSS&JS: add code# your-profile ul li.section-tab.purchased {
display: none; !important}
Best regards,Phuong Ngoc
You just sent me instructions with code that would solve this issue. Now you are sending me a conflicting response saying that you do not have this feature?
A learning management system MUST NOT publicly expose sensitive learning data. This is a GDPR violation and a basic violation of any Human Resources policy.
This is a critical issue that must be addressed. Any business using this theme is at risk if they have a public profile which exposes personal data. Hiding completion history from an end-user is also limiting and defeats the purpose of tracking what courses you have completed in addition to your progress, scores etc. It won’t be much of an LMS if the end-user doesn’t know their scores……
Can you please prioritize this request? Do you have a timeline to resolve this?
Kind regards,
Mike

November 12, 2020 at 5:44 PM in reply to: Latest Theme Update Deployed on 11.11.20 is Still Broke With Blog Search Errors #626294This fix needs to be deployed directly into the core theme. November 12, 2020 at 11:16 AM in reply to: Show owned courses and hide purchased courses on Profile page #626177Hello,
This CSS code did not work to address the issue. I added the code as you instructed:
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fq21iqdjuez2lz5/CSS%20Code.JPG?dl=0But nothing has changed and the results are still the same
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mtj0uo81urdmqc4/Purchased%20Showing%20Even%20After%20Code.JPG?dl=0I do not want to hide it for the actual user when they are viewing their own personal profile. Based on your instruction above, this code (should but does not) hide completed courses for the end-user. This will not be helpful to them personally as they won’t be able to see their completion history.
I ONLY want to hide completion history from being PUBLIC. Publicly showing PRIVATE completion data is a GDPR violation and will put people at risk by exposing sensitive data.
How can I get a resolution to this issue? Kindly advise. Thank you,
Mike
Hello, thank you for the update – The latest deployed update intended to provide a fix for broken search results within the blog but the issue still persists and is broken.

Thank you for the update. By wait for the latest update from developers, are you saying that you are going to incorporate these changes into the next public release? Do you have an expected date of release?
Thank you for your reply. What about for custom projects? If I want to hire your team for a larger business engagement?
Thank you for your reply and resolution. As a heads up it would have been more helpful if you clearly stated in your reply that you needed to add <span> </span> to the text. Daisy was helpful in responding to another thread which helped resolve this issue. This may be a helpful one you want to add to your revised documentation. Kind regards,
Mike

saying not to make direct changes to this section and that any changes that I make here will be lost once wordpress is updated? How can I make a trusted and safe fix to this section without these error messages once I can actually find the term I want to replace?Because of your issues, only you, our other clients not getting the same error, we were unable to push an update just to fix an issue that only happened to one guest. In order not to lose the changes you have installed, you just need to back up the website when you update or do something similar.
I am simply doing the core install on a fresh version of wordpress so these are not solely my issues and will be experienced by anyone who is using the theme. I am testing these issues on a dev environment and will not be able to use a backup in order to do a fresh install on a brand new environment once I have confirmed the bugs of this theme have been resolved. Therefore, I need to take the core install package and go through the steps for a brand new install. I don’t want to have to reach back out to you in order to re-solve custom code fixes.
If I am able to resolve these issues, I may be setting up 5-10 new sites that will all have the very same issues that I am experiencing now. These patch fixes are not sustainable. How can I get a better resolution to this?

5) Blog Search Results – still in progress. Thank you for the update.
6) User Public Profile From Homepage Link Broken – thank you for this helpful explanation and instructions. However, if the publicity of profiles is de-selected and made unavailable for all users – can the link on an instructors name be de-activated so that it can not be clicked?
When clicking on a non-public profile, you are brought to a page with an error message “this user does not public their profile. The statement is not grammatically correct, it should say “This user does not have a public profile.” How can I change the text of this error message?
Kind regards,

Issue #4 – User Profile Public Profile – has been resolved. Thank you very much for this helpful explanation.
Issue # 3) User Profile BIO Section – Thank you for this helpful explanation about what is happening for the broken section as well as scenario 4. Will you be making the adjustments to your core code to ensure that this issue will not persist in other sections of the site?
Issues # 1) Homepage: Register Now Section — has been resolved. Thank you very much for this helpful update and instruction.
Update:
#5) Blog Search Results
This issue is still persisting and is unfortunately not resolved as noted above. I just tried doing a simple search for the word “work” and found the search results page to be broken again.Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9f92qximfw4ayrr/21.JPG?dl=0
It looks like the fix applied to the “UX” search was just a patch and not an actual fix. The results returned are inconsistent as when I search for the word “Place” the right hand column is completely hidden altogether. Whereas above the column overlaps with the search results. It should consistently show the right column on each search results page regardless of the term that was searched.
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uw2hwj5a5sv2577/22.JPG?dl=0
When doing a search for the term “Blog” I get another variation of the screen with a new section beneath the advertisement with a broken “Latest Posts” section which doesn’t show on any of the other views except for this search. The post title has an error in it “[{{{site.name}}}] Activate {{{user-site.url}}}”
Screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/g9vj21yxtwon1qo/23.JPG?dl=0
Kind regards,
Mike
The actual issue appears to be resolved with the code fix that you made here but this needs to be updated in the actual theme install package. Can you please provide an update so that I can get the updated package with the fix?
