InactiveHello,
I have a situation where my entire site is unavailable due to a learnpress update. The latest changes seem to have made required filed unavailable. Perhaps the update failed to complete? Here are the error message on the home page:
Warning: require_once(/home/atully/learningglue.com/wp-content/plugins/learnpress//inc/admin/class-lp-upgrader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/atully/learningglue.com/wp-content/plugins/learnpress/inc/lp-add-on-functions.php on line 82
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/atully/learningglue.com/wp-content/plugins/learnpress//inc/admin/class-lp-upgrader.php’ (include_path=’.:’) in /home/atully/learningglue.com/wp-content/plugins/learnpress/inc/lp-add-on-functions.php on line 82
The URL is https://www.learningglue.com. How can I recover? Or is there a way to manually install the update or perhaps roll back to get my site working again?
Many thanks,
Andrew -

InactiveHi,
Many thank for the reply.
I am using 4.9.1–en_GB.
I am in the process of a manual upload, my guess is that the auto-update failed to complete. The steps as I understand are:
1. access the plugins folder via ftp and rename the learnpress plugin folder to regain access to me site
2. download the learnpress folder to have a local copy
3. delete the server version
4. download, unzip and upload a fresh version of learnpressIs that what you might recommend too?
I am hoping that all of my lessons etc are still safe in the DB.

Don’t worry, your data will not be lost.
But If you want to update LearnPress plugin, please go to Plugins / Installed Plugins / then click update now to update Learnpress plugin, see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/hyuv7n.

InactiveMany thanks,
The update failed to complete and as a result some files were missing. Access to the site was restricted as a result of a variety of PHP errors. I worked around this by manually (FTP) removing and reinstalling the latest version of LearnPress which worked beautifully and I am now right back where I was before the failed update and as you pointed out all my data is safe.
Thanks for your replies, really appreciate it!
Andrew
