Hello,
I can’t translate some words in the LearnPress plugin with Loco Translate in french (learnpress-fr_FR.po (Système)).
For example, the translations of the words “Hour,” “Days,” and “Week” do not work. However, I am using the same procedure as with other words.
Thank you.
Kinds regards,

Hello Alice,
Thank you ! Have you been able to log in since the 500 error appeared?
What does this error mean? What does the value “15 days” mean?
Thank you.
Have a good day,

Dear tedbas,
15 days is the Duration you set in the Setting course. You can go to LearnPress -> Course -> Edit course -> Settings Courses -> Duration. Your theme receives that database and shows it.
Best regards,
Alice

Hello Alice,
I don’t see where the “15 days” was indicated. In the course settings, I specified “7 hours”.
In any case, this doesn’t solve my translation problem. How should I proceed to translate words that don’t want to be translated? Thank you in advance for a bit more detailed explanation.
Have a nice day,

Dear tedbas,
You can see this image: https://i.imgur.com/NKbiy2H.png
After you set the duration for the course, your theme will receive the database and show. https://i.imgur.com/W0D8Bem.png

Hello Alice,
Thanks. It already says ‘7 Hours’ on this course.
I would like to translate it in French. In Loco Translate, it doesn’t work.
Best regards,

Dear tedbas,
Because your theme receives data directly from the database and displays it. So please contact your theme for the best support.

Hello Alice,
Thank you. How can I properly explain the situation to them so that they understand the problem is on their end? I’m not sure I have the right technical terms.
Have a nice day,

Dear tedbas,
Please tell your theme: you contacted the LearnPress plugin and they said the theme gets data from the duration database to display so you can’t currently translate those words.
Best regards,
Alice

Hello Alice,
The theme support team told me that this issue is coming from your extension.
It is becoming a constraint for my use. What solution can you propose to me?
I tried to modify the file “LearnPress .pot…/wp-content/plugins/learnpress/languages/learnpress.pot”, but nothing.
Thank you.
Have a good day,

Dear tedbas,
Unfortunately, after a thorough check, the problem is still due to your theme. We tried to help you fix the problem in the child theme code.
Best regards,
Alice
