A Modern Design System for a Better User Experience
One of the most significant updates in 2024 was our revamped design system. It is modern and clean, making LearnPress intuition friendly and eye-appealing.
This overhaul wasn’t limited to just the frontend; we also made substantial improvements to the backend; We also made substantial improvements to the backend, making it user-friendly for all the programmers and non-programmers alike and allowing people to run LearnPress through a very limited knowledge of WordPress.
To foster creativity and collaboration, we published our updated design system on Figma Community. This comprehensive resource includes designs for: Design System, Home Page, Course Listing, Course Single, Instructor Profile, and Dashboard.
It’s initiative encourages designers and developers to access and adapt our work in building upon it much like the seamless user experience we aim for between instructors and learners.

Bridging Online and In-person Learning
This year, LearnPress took significant strides in enhancing its support for hybrid learning by improving features for selling and promoting in-person classes.
We’ve revamped both the frontend UI/UX and backend customizations to make it easier than ever for instructors to showcase and manage their offline courses. These enhancements include redesigned pre-built pages tailored specifically for offline courses, creating a cohesive experience for instructors and students alike.

LearnPress Analytics Dashboard
Understanding performance is important for both instructors and administrators. That’s why we’re introducing the Analytics Dashboard, which provides actionable insights into student engagement, course performance, and more.
We’re also adding frontend UI/UX, performance enhancements, and backend customization to make the LearnPress Analytics Dashboard experience as seamless as possible.
Of course, we’ll continue to update the user experience in these key areas over the coming years.
Optimized Assignment Add-on for Improved Learning and Grading
Assignments are a cornerstone of effective learning, and we’ve made major improvements to both the student and instructor experiences this year.
On the student side, we’ve updated the entire UI of the Assignment Add-on to be clean and modern. Sections now feature enhanced descriptions, improved button content, and integrated push notifications. An introduction screen helps students orient themselves before beginning an assignment, while the assignments themselves are structured into two main parts: “Task” and “Your Answers.”
Notifications have been added to keep students informed at every stage, such as when assignments are successfully submitted or updates on their status. The redesigned result screen now displays scores, assignment details, and evaluation feedback with a corresponding color scheme for clarity.
For instructors, we’ve overhauled the navigation, text, and descriptions in the WordPress backend to make managing assignments easier. The Evaluate Form UI has been redesigned with a modern and user-friendly color scheme, and new features have been added to display more detailed information.
Further, Instructors can now view student names, emails, assignment times, and submission timestamps directly within the evaluation form. To enhance feedback, we introduced a custom editor that allows instructors to tailor notes for each student, aligning with their unique feedback style.
