How to use ‘team members’ instead of ‘authors’ for blog posts

Hi,

I am porting old blog posts from an old WordPress website to a new WordPress website with the Eduma theme. I like to place the post’s author portrait, name and LinkedIn link underneath each post, like in the Eduma template. But the real authors are no longer blog users: they have left the company and can’t be added as users to the new (private) blog now.

I can’t create fake authors with my email address either (only 1 user per email address is allowed).

The old authors are all listed as ‘team members’ on the new site.

So I like to keep the ‘author’ section’s layout/design as in the single blog post Eduma template, but like to fill it with ‘team member’ content instead of ‘author’ content for each blog post.

How can I do that? I have found the PHP line for the author section, and can put it into comments to hide it. But how to change it, so that I can input each team member per blog post?
