Problems with WooCommerce plugin not registering users for course

Hello,
I have been trying to troubleshoot this plugin. I have it setup as per the documentation, and a person can purchase the course fine, and get a receipt email, and it shows order complete in woocommerce, however the user is not asked to create an account, and immediately after purchasing the course, they cannot access it, there is still an add to cart button on the main course page. Please help ASAP, trying to get people signed up today and tomorrow!
