Top banner (header?) image cannot be modified or removed

The theme has a banner on top which I can neither modify with my own picture or remove. It would seem to be a header, but when I add a header, it appears above the banner. I can type text content on top of it, but otherwise cannot find a way to modify it. http://www.sara-taeko-port.com
