Where is the Google-Analytics-Code in php?

  Hi There.
  
  I entered the Google-Analytics-Code in the theme backend, where appropriate. This works great too!
  
  But: Where is this integrated GA-Code written in php?
  
  I have to modify the code snippet and could not find anything in the following php files:
  
  index.php
  header.php
  footer.php
  
  Normally these files are used, where did you integrate the code?
  
  I look forward to a timely feedback
