without adding them in the curriculum section

In the course features section in theme, I would like to be able to write any data (for example 5 lectures, 2 quizzes) without adding them in the curriculum section. Because as much as I see -if I am not wrong-, only by adding them into curriculum we can change course fatures part. I would be really glad if you could show me another way. Thanks.
