Hi there. My website will not update the progress bars when people watch a video. What am I doing wrong?

Dear thomas3,
I’m so sorry.
The progress bar will depend your setting here: http://prntscr.com/ocf8xj
And it’ll be updated when user completed lesson or quiz, not watch a video.
Please help me check again it.
Best regards,

Can I ask what “ends” a lesson? Is there a button that I don’t see or need to create? I see “Next” and “Previous” indicators, but no way to finish the lesson that I can find.
BTW – amazed at your response speed. Thank you for your expedient response.

Dear thomas3,
Please make sure you enrolled that course (bought that course).
Because when you enrolled a course, you will see the complete lesson button.
Please help me check again it and let me know.

I would also love the video to be bigger so there isn’t so much black, but not sure how to do that either.

I am enrolled (purchased) on a different test account.

Dear thomas3,
For your issues:
1. Video: Please go to Appearance / Customize / General / Custom CSS 7 JS / put the css code below to Custom CSS and change max-width for it:
#learn-press-content-item .learn-press-video-intro .video-content { max-width: 1250px !important; }
Then select Publish and go to your site to check the result.
2. complete lesson button: Can you give me the account that you used to check? I need to check more carefully.
Note: You’re using Eduma theme so please help me submit your purchase code in this forum.

Please check before I put it in again.

Ok Awesome! I was able to get it to go full width. I changed it from 1250px to 100%. THANK YOU.
I might have one more video thing… How do I get rid of all the padding around the top and bottom of the featured course video?
-
July 9, 2019 at 1:24 PM #456677AnonymousInactive
Dear thomas3,
1. complete button: The reason is due to you have set duration for course is 2 hours (http://prntscr.com/ocg18r)
So after 2 hours (begin when you finished payment), you can’t complete any lesson and start quiz.
Please help me check again it.
2. video: Please try to use the css code below:
.course-thumbnail .media-intro iframe { margin-top: -120px !important; margin-bottom: -120px !important; }
3. You can read here to know how to get your purchase code: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202822600-Where-Is-My-Purchase-Code-
Then submit it.

The video css you supplied successfully fixed website, but mobile is still a little bit padded. Can we get rid of more of the padding on mobile?
As for the Duration of the Course. I need them to own the course for the rest of their lives once they purchase. Not have a time limit. That is possible, correct?

I have deleted duration – it is no longer 2. Updating and clearing cache. Will let you know if it works. Thanks for all your help.

Dear thomas3,
1. video: With mobile, Please try to use the css code below:
@media (max-width: 480px) { .course-thumbnail .media-intro iframe { margin-top: -270px !important; margin-bottom: -270px !important; } }
2. duration: You can set duration is 0 to disable it.
But if user enrolled course then you change duration to 0, user’ll not get the new settings.
It’ll get the setting that you have set before. Please help me check again.
PS: This is to kindly remind you to renew the support, it’s expired.

Success! Progress bar works – thank you for explaining everything to me perfectly.
I am going to click through support for the other theme and go from there unless I hear back. Again, thank you – those problems were driving me crazy!
