Switching themes messes up the whole site

    I had to test something and I switched the theme to Twenty Twntytwo for a second and back to Starkid. The outcome was a broken site – not just the CSS, but also missing content, menus, footer, global staying,… Most of it was reset to default – as when I installed the theme and demo.
    I had to restore from backup. But I don’t want to rely on backups in case I have to switch the theme again in the future. How can this be fixed? Is there anything I need to do in order to be able to switch between themes for a FEW SECONDS and not losing all the modifications made to the website?

    Please don’t tell me to share credentials as I’ve already restored the site from backup. The site was clean – new, the Starkid theme and your plugins + a backup plugin were the only ones installed and active on the site when that happened. I can probably reproduce this on your demo if you have one.
