Is there a way I can change the role “instructor” to something else? For example, we would like to be able to use the word “coach” or “mentor.”
Thanks,

Huyen,
Thanks for the advice. I appreciate how quickly you responded. The plugin is great, and I was able to change the names of roles, but now how those roles are labeled within the public view of the site.
For example:
I was able to change lp_teacher to lp_coach. However, when lp_teacher is called on the website the label that actually appears is “Instructor.” I am struggling to figure out how to change the words Instructor to Coach. The actual user role isn’t important, but the label that the public sees is.
I’d appreciate any additional advice you might have for me. I’m learning a lot along the way, but I wish I could be learning it a bit faster. :)

Dear cvandee,
I’m so sorry, you can’t change it. Please consider again it.
And you can read here to know how to change the role name: https://firstsiteguide.com/change-default-role-names-wordpress/ and try to do it for your self.
Best regards,
Huyen Anh
