Dear Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to bring to your attention some issues I have encountered with the Learn Press sign-up form over the past couple of weeks, particularly concerning the “custom register fields.”
One significant deficiency lies in the lack of options to enforce specific formats for these custom register fields. For instance, if I designate a field as “Date,” there is no provision to enforce a format such as dd/mm/yy. Additionally, there’s a missing feature called “place holder text” that allows for providing examples within these custom fields. For instance, it would be immensely helpful to users if we could input examples like “John” for First Name and “+233 50 816 032” for Telephone #, guiding them on what is expected. I’ve attached an example of what a form with Placeholder Text looks like here: https://imgur.com/sz5DpTVThe absence of these functionalities has led to a considerable number of users abandoning the registration process. Hence, I, along with other users, urgently require these improvements to enhance user experience and reduce dropout rates during registration.
I kindly request your assistance in addressing these issues promptly. Your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Julia, I don’t think you’ve understood a thing I’ve said.
Bascially, the “Custom Register Fields” do not allow for us to put Placeholder Text. The absence of these functionalities has led to a considerable number of users abandoning the registration process. I am losing money.
The attached photo was simply so you could see what Placeholder Text Looks like. I have no interest in editing the checkout fields.

Julia, this response is not sufficient.
When a user reports that you have designed the form in a way that is costing them and other users money the response should not be, “Sorry, but we have not had that feature yet. Thank you for your question”. Your response should seek to solve the issue.
Fortunately, I was able to find a workaround using the “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin to add the extra fields I require. However, here’s the problem: these new fields don’t seem to inherit the styling of the existing form, creating a visually inconsistent experience. I’d greatly appreciate any guidance you can offer on how to ensure the newly added custom fields with “Advanced Custom Fields” adopt the same styling as the original form elements.

I have now decided to go with Profile Extra Fields. They also provide the option to modify CSS.
This is how the custom fields now appear: https://allnotes.digital/profile/
I’d like them to look the same as all of the other fields.
Also, if I can have the breadcrumbs and header removed on the Login/Signup Page that would be fantastic
