You will see the update notification if you are using LearnPress from v4.2.6.8.2 or below. To make sure LearnPress runs smoothly on your site, please back up your site and update the database.
LearnPress v4.2.6.9 Update Details
In this version, we create the table learnpress_courses in the MySQL database. The purpose is to create a separate table for LearnPress from the Posts database.
Creating the separated table will only show course data, improving the speed of queries. This is the beginning for us to improve the code and ease the data processing. Moreover, we update some important security issues and prevent attacks from the old vulnerabilities.
Besides, we change the fields to choose authors and subscribers. Using API will help increase the speed of the sites that have over 1000 users.
Last but not least, we will show the Tab Material & the option “there is no enrollment requirement” on the Single course page.
