A problem with Text PopOver plugin (while EduPress theme does not have)

Hi team,
I have just switched from EduPress theme to this premium theme Course Builder. However, after the switch, the tooltips created by (free) Text Popover plugin https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/text-popover/ do not work any more. Text Popover is supposed to work with any Gutenberg blocks. FYI, I changed to using Gutenberg editor via LearnPress/Settings/Advanced tab-> Enable gutenberg.
I even installed a fresh WordPress on a different domain with a fresh install of Course Builder. Still, Text Popover does not work.
Would you be so kind as to help me make Course Builder compatible with tooltips created by Text Popover (just like EduPress). I switched to a premium theme with the hope that everything would be a much better experience. I’m, for now, a bit disappointed that my old tooltips do now show up in this premium theme (while a free theme can).
I really appreciate your help.
