Allowing JavaScript from within a Course / Lesson

  I’ve created a calculator using JavaScript which I would like my students to access via a Lesson but it seems that when I embed this code it gets disabled from within the Lesson Window.
  
  How do I allow custom JavaScript to run within a Course / Lesson?
