Booking for a night blocks bookings for a day before and after

Hi,
If room is booked for one night from February 22nd till 23rd, system is not allowing anyone to book the same room day before or after that date. It means that rooms is not available for booking for 3 days, when in reality it is booked only for one night.
How this can be resolved? Booking system is not supposed to work like this. -
