Can I create a courses then group them based on department and based on rank?

Hi,

I just purchased the coaching theme yesterday with a purpose to create a training hub for our internal employee.
So it’s going to be free training custom based on our people’s rank and department.

A little context about us.
We’re a retail company with multiple outlet and multiple department of 200 person.
Most of our people are in frontline. I’d like to use learnpress to standarize our company training and onboarding.
We have hundreds of training videos which specialized for one department and there are some videos that can be applied to two or three departments.

There are some training videos that only Manager’s level can access and need to know.
There are some training videos that everyone need to know

Could you suggest me best practice/solutions that i can take to:
1. Organize these training videos so that someone who is just come and join our company can get proper and specific training focused on their department and level?
2. How do I easily assign the training to my team?
What i have tried:
a. Utilized Paid Membership Pro to create membership for each department
-> The problem is everybody knows the and training in that department. Including the new recruit knows their manager’s SOP. It would overwhelm the new recruits
b. Utilized Paid Membership pro to create membership for each department’s role. Ex: Purchasing Staff, Purchasing Admin, Purchasing Data Analyst, Purchasing Manager
-> The problem is, when this new recruit promoted to the next level or got promote to other division/department, I have to change their membership. When I change their membership, their previous training completion, quiz result dissapear.
We need to retain their previous training completion for future promotion possibilities.

c. Try to assign the course one by one per staff.
-> The problem it would take a lot of time and i might miss a course or two.

Can I create a courses then group them based on department and based on rank.
When the user got promoted, the user will be assigned more courses based on the department and rank they assigned to.
But they don’t lose their past grade/completion.
