Change gpl theme with original theme

Hi,
I had created my site with eduma gpl theme and now I have purchased eduma original theme from themeforest. I wanted to update my theme from gpl to original from theme core but could not.Now question is –
“how I can change my gpl theme by original theme without losing customization ?”Thanks,
