Change the color of menu items

Hello,
How do I change the color of menu items?
In my main menu they are displayed in white, so they are not readable, as the background is also white. But if the items link to the homepage, they are green instead, which is strange (see screenshot, all items are linking to the home except the two marked with the red arrow).
