Child theme changed rtl elements to ltr

  Hi
  I use a Hebrew site so the direction is rtl.
  After activating the child theme, some elements became ltr, so I turned back to main theme.
  Is it a known issue?
  Will my custom css erase when I update the theme to the next version?
