curriculum not loading right

When I am creating a course the learnpress documentation shows blue buttons within the course area to add quizes, lessons, assignments, etc. In my version none of this is showing up. I cannot add curriculum to the course. Please help! I have the latest version 3.4.3 and all recommended plugins enabled. I see an Add Section to the curriculum area with a plus sign but it is not clickable.
