Entire site stops working after last step of theme installation

  Hi,
  
  I just bought the theme, but it doesn’t work… When I click publish on the last step of the installation, where I am at the Customize section, the entire site stops working. I have to forcefully shutdown my VM, delete the database and recreate everything.
  
  What is happening?
