Exclude IDs or Depth=1 for Categories Room Type View

Hi, I’m trying to show on the room boxes where it shows the categories, only 1 depth of categories (so that it only shows first level hierarchy from categories in the preview room box), or to exclude specific IDs of categories, but not working at all.

Check out the code and please let me know what I’m doing wrong, because I can’t see any changes…
Take I look, I added:
‘depth’ => 1,
‘exclude’ => ’27’,

But none is working…
This is the array I’m including in it.
