Fill in Blanks questions are marking inconsistently

Hi,

I’m using the ‘Fill in Blanks’ option in LearnPress questions. The first time I test the question it correctly marks the question. After a while, when I retest the question it indicates that all answers are wrong, although it presents the answers correctly and you can see that they match. Here’s a screen print showing it behaving in this way:

If I select to edit the question in WordPress, don’t make any changes but update, the marking usually works the next time I try it. However, the behaviour is inconsistent i.e. I haven’t found anything that repeatedly makes it work or not work.

I’ve spent a long time trying different things, but cannot find any consistent behaviour. ‘Fill in the Blanks’ is the only option that works for my requirement so I’m at a loss as to what I should do.
