How to add “display settings” and “custom layout” to a “custom post type”?

Hello,
in the backend on a page it is possible to change the page layout (with sidebar, without sidebar and so on….).
How I can add the “display settings” to a custom post type?
The “custom post type” appears with a sidebar, I don’t like the sidebar in the “custom post type”.Thanks in advance!
