How to remove a student from a course and how to stop students enrolling?

1) I tried to remove a student by changing the order status to cancelled but the course still shows up in the student profile and can be accessed. (This is a free course)

2) Also if I change the order status to cancelled on a paid course, will this trigger a refund in Stripe or PayPal?

3) Is there a way to create a course where students can ONLY be added manually? In other words they cannot enrol themselves?

Hi Julia,

1. I completely deleted that order but it is still visible from the student profile and the student can till access the course.

How to completely remove it from the student profile and prevent access?

2. No problem re. refund. Thanks.

3. I’m using Astra Pro theme and under appearance> Customize> there is no option for courses. Also, I want students to be able to enrol themselves on some courses, and have other courses where I create the orders. Is this possible?
