How to remove content below nav bar?

Hi,

On the main website, whenever I add a new page, this content (Ivy League Program and the directory display) shows up at the top. I would like to remove it so that I am working with a blank page.
I tried to create a new blank page (not from template) and it still is showing this content at the top.
How do I remove this unwanted content?
