How to setup a left sidebar on all the pages

Good evening,
I am creating a topic, because I wish to setup a left sidebar on the website for the buddypress menu, so basically, I created it, and tried to set it up in the customization section, however I don’t find the category pages on it, and for the home page neither. Also I created some nav in the menu to reach pages of course category, on them also I cannot set the left sidebar.So how can I do it ?
