Image display within Event Manager

I have installed demo 3 as my page and am in the process of configuring properly when I notice out of nowhere the images displayed on the page linked to the event manager are not displaying properly.
Originally the images would be zoomed to fill in the entire box section of the image, now the entire image is being shrunk to fit within the box.
What can I do to fix this?
I had deleted my entire installation and redeployed it and the issue remained.
