Incorrect certificate appearing on completed course page

We have a user who has a lot of courses (about 165). They are trying to print their certificates, but are constantly seeing the same certificate, regardless of which course they are looking at. This appears to only happen using the popup certificate.

We have reproduced this on their account. This does not happen for all users.

I notice that for this user, when they click on the Certificate button, it brings the certificate up on the same page (with an “X” icon in the top-right corner) (with the wrong course), whereas for other users, clicking on the Certificate button navigates to a new page (as if “Show certificate popup” is unchecked), where the correct certificate is displayed. I do not understand why some users see their certificates as a popup and others see them with a new URL (/certificates/{cert_id}). When I disable “Show certificate popup” in settings, this user properly sees the certificate in a new window.

We have temporarily disabled “Show certificate popup” to ensure our users are able to print the certificates.

So, summary: 2 issues:
1) When show certificate popup is enabled, only some users get the popups
2) When the certificate is displayed as a popup, it is presenting an incorrect certificate course.
