jQuery error incompatible with plugin

I’ve been seeking help from Toolset’s makers. They made tests on their end and have this response: a jQuery in the theme is conflicting with the plugin Toolset Layouts. Can you confirm and indicate what I should do? The plugin works with all basic themes and many premium themes.

Hi Samuel,

I took a look at this and the default theme works fine with our Layouts plugin so it’s not necessarily an error in our plugin.

Digging deeper I was able to find this line of code that was throwing the jquery error.

I’m not sure where this code is coming from but it seems to be the culprit and is still present even after our layouts plugin is disabled.

Could you ask the theme author to have a look as well and let them know that this code is still present even with Layouts is disabled?
