Problem with Dropdown menu color in header

I can’t seem to custom design or change the colors in my dropdown header. I’m trying to change the drop-down menu colors. Background, and hover over colors. This menu has always worked in elementor but after your last theme update your default theme overrides any changes I try to make in the elementor header dropdown menu. It will read and update everything else in this menu. I even tried red text for my dropdown and hover menu. But it will not read any color but your default theme color. I’m not sure how to change the theme default dropdown menu. I’ve tried to change the customize> appearance> Header. Nowhere do I have the dropdown menu text Blue or the background transparent. I have the background set to white #ffffff with no transparency in the dropdown menu. Again this has always worked and works in all my other websites. Can you tell me how to override your menu colors? Thank you so much!!!
