Register Students for Future Start Date

I need to be able to register new students for a future start date for my coaching program without preventing my current students from being able to access the content.
Is there any way to accept registrations to a course that has a future start date? Please keep in mind that there are students enrolled, but I can’t wait until the current program ends before I start promoting the next enrollment.
The only possibility I can think of is to create a product and have students pay, and then manually enroll the students to the course on the start date.
Is there a better solution or any way I can set this up through Learnpress?
