Registration process with wrong e-mail-adress, how to get the lost password

Hi Thimpress -Team!
I’d need a solution for the following problem:
1. A user makes a registration for a course and makes a mistake by typing his e-mail-adress, for instance he has
[email protected] but he types
[email protected].2. After that he fills out the form with his data and buys a course with Paypal.
3. Then he loggs out.
4. The next day, he wants to log in but he can’t because he has lost his password.
5. He klicks “lost password” and types in his correct e-mail-adress [email protected] to get his password via mail.
But in this case he never will get his password because the e-mail-adress in the registration process was wrong ([email protected]).
Do you have a solution for this problem?
