Remove author profile image

Hi guys. It looks like I can only upload a speaker image by using gravatar. That won’t work for me as I will need to contact all speakers and try get them to do a gravatar, these are doctors who are too busy to do that.
How can I remove the profile image completely, or how can I easily add a profile pic in?
