Remove Demo Image from Slider

Hi, both the REMOVE DEMO IMAGE pinned message and this advice from the Knowledge Base and FAQ is incorrect:
How to disable the demo slider images?
Sometimes, when you open your site, the slider images from our demo appear in a few seconds, then disappear although you did delete all demo sliders. You can completely disable the default images easily in Dashboard >> Slider Revolution >> Settings >> Layout & Visual and turn off the option “Show Background Image”.
I still have one of the 3 demo images visible as soon as the slider loads (it is quickly replaced by one of our custom images). I can view the default image in the Global Settings for the slider when I edit it, but there is no dialogue to let me change the image.
Any advice to completely remove this image from my slider would be great.
