Student Must Click “Finish Course” Button Before He Can Take Quiz?

Hi,
I have a student who is not able to take the practice quizzes or exams unless he clicks the “Finish Course” button. The student gave me his login information and when I clicked on the quiz or exams, I see the “Finish Course” button.
However, I have a test account set up and although I’ve only completed lessons #1, 2, 3 & 12, I am able to start the practice exams and quizzes.
