Students cannot reset password

I got this message from a student.
“When I used the “forgot password” function so I could finally just set a new one and log in, it sent an email to me with a “reset password link” However, when I click on the link, it just takes me right back to the course, logged in, with no way to change password. The only way to change it in account settings is by entering the current one which it is still saying is incorrect. Ahh- help! So many issues.”I tried to reset a password and I never received the link in my email. Please help.
