Theme Customization won't publish changes

get this response “Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.” No matter how long I wait I get the same error.
error received using both Demo 2 and Demo 3
I switched to a different theme – all plugins still active – and it works. When I go back to Hotel WP I get the same error.
